Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The singer has made significant inroads to Latin pop. Una Lady Como Tu from 2016 was awarded a Colombian Kids Choice Award as Favorite Song for 2017. The year 2017 saw the release of ADN the first of his long-players with La Industria Inc. in Medellin. The album reached number 8 within the Top Latin Albums Chart. In the following year, he became part of Ozuna on his Top Five smash Vaina Loca. Mala Influencia was his collaborative effort with Noriel in the year 2020. Following that calendar year Dopamina came out as his sophomore album. In 2021, he appeared on a duet TINI on her streaming smash single Maldita Foto. 2000 which included the smash record La Bachata appeared in 2023. Turizo was raised in a musical environment, because both his mother and younger brother are musicians. In his interviews, Turizo has declared that music is a must. In his childhood he was instructed to play the piano, guitar as well as the ukulele. Although his first choice of career was to be a veterinarian, His brother Julian convinced him to take singing lessons with an Cuban teacher and the end consequence of him discovering his gift as a singer altered his entire life.
