Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is an acclaimed Indian actress best famous for her role in Beta Saajan and Hum Aapke Hai Koun, and Beta Saajan. She first began her career acting in the late 1980s. She became famous for Tezaab, a film starring veteran actor Anil Kooor. In the next film, Dil, Aamir Khan appeared as well. When she was a kid she began studying at a very early age. When she was in her early years as she began acting as a young actress, most of the films she created weren't successful. Then she found her way to success and she became one of the most prominent actresses in the Indian film industry. She took a break from her profession due to her marriage, before going back to the industry of entertainment. Recently, she had an important role in the film Gulaab Gang which was about the challenges faced by women living in India. Dixit is nominated to win fifteen Filmfare Awards, out of which she took home eight. Padma Shri is the fourth most prestigious civilian award in India. Her social work is also popular.
